New equipment requested

The Timmins Fire Department is looking to make some purchases. 160 complete sets of bunker gear to be exact along with 28 spare sets. Fire Chief Mike Pintar says most of their gear is wearing down from being washed after every incident and isn’t as resistant as it once was.  The cost of the purchase would be roughly $372,000 in total. Council has yet to approve the request.
