Parking lot idea shut down

Northern College in South Porcupine has withdrawn a rezoning application for RV campsites when it comes to the Stars and Thunder music and fireworks festival. The withdrawal came out at Monday’s city council meeting. This is following a March 20th meeting, where the idea of a college parking lot being used as a temporary campsite was met with negative relations with a handful of residents.
