Timmins City hall has put out an request for proposal. They say they’re looking for a private contractor to look after the annual spring clean up within the city. Some on city staff say the city could save up to $70,000 by stopping the spring clean-up altogether. The city says they do no have enough waste-management workers to look after the annual clean-up, and thus they are tossing out tenders.
