Fifth Floor Rescue

North Bay Fire crews reportedly staged a fifth-floor rescue Saturday. It all started just after 11:00am when a woman had reportedly collapsed in her Olive Street unit. Deputy Chief Greg Saunders says the trouble started when couldn’t get through the front door.

Saunders says that once inside, the firefighter opened the apartment door, and worked with on-scene paramedics to provide emergency medical attention. The condition of the woman is not known.
