Anticipation is building for a special Sudbury City council meeting slated for next week. It all surrounds the a controversial fire optimization where Councillors will vote on eight recommendations on the future of the service, which include stating support for volunteer firefighters while permanently closing the Red Deer Lake volunteer station. The meeting is scheduled for the 26th.
