It’s good news, but we’re not out of the water yet. The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says they’ve downgraded its Flood Outlook to a Water Safety statement. What that means is that while water levels remain elevated, the last snow survey on April 13th says that there is only 3 to 11 cm in some watersheds, while others have none. Temperatures over the next five days are expected to melt the remaining snow.
