A report has come in that is deeply concerning according to a Health Quality Ontario report. And that is this: Northeastern Ontario has a three times the suicide rate compared with the rest of Ontario. Several community organizations including the Nipissing Social Services Administration Board, says there is significant concern that the North East LHIN is not tracking a mental health and addictions wait list for services and that the need for an increase to doctor access is needed.
