Out of Spanish Township, the OPP have now identified the incident where a man has been located deceased, a homicide. Yesterday, a post-mortem exam was conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner for the northeast. The victim has been identified as 68-year old George Chapman, of Spanish.

A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on drug trafficking charges, among others, according to the OPP out of St. Charles this week. Working in partnership with the OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the Northeast Region Community Street Crime Unit, a search warrant has been executed. The woman is scheduled to appear in court, in Sudbury, on Aug. 9th.
