Many have breathed a sigh of relief since the Province has announced 1,200 additional hospital bed spaces, 75 of which will be the northeast. Vic Fedeli says he’s grateful, but notes that the infuse is well over-due, considering the length of time, the Liberals have been at the Province’s helm.
Sudbury gets 16 beds, the Sault Area Hospital will get eight, the Timmins and District Hospital will get eight beds as well and the North Bay Regional Health Center.
