Multiple charges laid by Elliot Lake OPP

The Elliot Lake OPP have taken a 33 year old into custody after his vehicle came into contact with a light post. It happened on Hillside Drive North in the City. Following an investigation, Police say, evidently the man had been drinking. He was taken into custody and his vehicle was impounded.

Elliot Lake OPP say they’ve taken a male into custody following a theft. It all happened at local retail store on Hillside Drive North. The store manager reported a male leaving the store with numerous items in his possession that were not paid for. The arrest went down, following a short foot pursuit.
