Garbage collection, public or private – City Council

Sault Ste Marie city council says they’re tasked city staff to develop a comprehensive report comparing the costs of garbage collection privately and publicly. The city says that their current contract expires July, and they’re interested in examining the true costs of the operation before moving forward.
