OPP in the Almaguin Highlands have caught a speeder in the midst of a RIDE check. It happened on Kents Mill Road in Joly Township. They say the driver of an ATV sped away from the officers in a deliberate attempt to avoid a RIDE stop. A 28-year-old from Magnetawan, is charged with flight while pursued by peace officer, fail to wear proper helmet and face protection.
