$26,000 drugs found on suspect, in bag

An estimated $26,000 worth of illegal drugs are off the street. This is thanks to early morning take down in Sturgeon Falls. West Nipissing Police Service officers were on general patrol on John Street when they observed a man in the area, and then later strolling out from behind a building. The officers questioned the 42 year and located his backpack hidden a short distance away. Upon searching the man and the backpack, police seized a substantial amount of street drugs and $2,500.00 cash.
