A meeting of residents will come together next week, regarding a Thessalon area dam. The Shaw Dam, built in 1931, located 10 kilometres north of Thessalon east of Sault Ste Marie, no longer meets safety guidelines for stability and a meeting to discuss the next steps will be this coming Tuesday. It will be at the Thessalon Township Community Centre.
