Two Sudbury projects get federal funding

First, the March of Dimes Canada in Sudbury is getting a boost to help its clients. More than $1.85 million is coming from the Federal Government. With this support, March of Dimes will facilitate inclusive employment and workplace opportunities for 280 persons with disabilities.

Meanwhile, the federal government says they’ll get the wave started to fundraise for a new therapeutic pool in Greater Sudbury. A $1-million-dollar injection came with the announcement from Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré yesterday in support of the initiative. The federal funding brings the total so far to about $2.4 million, with a goal of reaching $4.7-million.
