Lock it up, you could be next – Police

Lock your vehicles or you could be next, say North Bay Police. This is after $8,500 worth of tools were stolen by a man on a bicycle on Saturday, June 1st. No descriptors were given by city Police, but the public is being asked to keep an eye open for expensive hand tools sold second hand. The Theft occurred out of a vehicle in the rear parking lot on McGaughey Avenue business. Those who do have information are being asked to call Police or Crimestoppers.
It’s only one of two thefts from vehicles being looked at in Northern Ontario this week. Timmins Police say they got a call regarding over $15,300 worth of Jewelry and cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle. We spoke to Constable Marc Depatie who says there are some good news and a message to the public.
