Female charged in a strong of thefts

Sault Ste. Marie Police have charged a 38-year-old with theft. This is after, on several occasions between April and July 2019, the accused is alleged to have attended businesses in the 200 block of Bay Street, selected items from businesses and left without attempting to pay for them.

Officers located the accused on July 10, 2019, and took her into custody. She is charged with seven counts of theft under $5,000 and 14 counts of breach of probation. She was held for bail court.
