New playground coming to North Bay

City workers in North Bay have demolished the playground in Lee Park, all to make way for a new one. The newer section is being removed to be relocated. The City of North Bay has partnered with the Kiwanis Club on the project, which is expected to be completed by October.
The playground is closed as work to install a new accessible and age-friendly structure gets underway. The new playground will include wide ramps, large decks, and specialized accessible swings, seesaws, and spinners.
