One arrested in breach of probation, witnesses sought for accidnet

The Timmins Police Service has charged an area resident with breach of bail conditions after an incident early yesterday. While completing general patrols of the city’s downtown core, an officer stopped a man said to be riding a bicycle in an erratic fashion. A traffic stop revealed 35-year-old was held to a curfew and arrested.
As a result of the incident, the man from Val Gagne, has been charged with Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was being held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Timmins provincial court Tuesday morning.
Elsewhere,
Two drivers remain in hospital following an accident involving a motorcycle in Capreol. It happened between 8-9 p.m yesterday and kept the roadway closed for around eight hours while police investigated. MR 84 was finally re-opened at about 4 a.m. and anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the police.
Officers are still gathering information related to the crash. GSPS is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police at 705-675-9171.
