A second speeder, in almost as many days – OPP

OPP have pulled a 51-year-old Peterborough driver off the road. It happened in the middle of the day yesterday on highway 11 in Temiskaming Shores. He was allegedly was clocked going more than 160 kilometres per hour. That is more than 50kph over the posted speed limit. He was arrested on the spot, and his vehicle was impounded.

The drivers’ licence was seized, and the vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days. The driver was released by way of summons and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 21, 2020, in the City of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario.
