The costs of legal challenges against the proposed Kingsway Entertainment District, in Greater Sudbury, could cost taxpayers over $600,000. A Superior Court judge has ruled the city did no wrong when approving bylaws for development, but current costs in the legal bickering, through the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, led by Casino Free Sudbury, are currently sitting at approximately $300,000. Those hearings are scheduled for Thursday and Friday of next week.
