Public Health Ontario has confirmed 213 new cases of COVID-19 today. That’s up from 170 on Thursday. No new deaths were reported today. The top numbers come from Toronto, Peel, Ottawa, and Waterloo.

The Porcupine Health Unit is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in its catchment area. A Timmins man, in his 40s, is in self-isolation after a test he took on Wednesday came back positive. Health unit officials are currently investigating to determine how he came into contact with the disease.
