New cases of COVID-19 reported by multiple health units

Among COVID-19 cases today Public Health Sudbury and districts reported 6 new cases of the Corona Virus. Of the cases, 4 are from Greater Sudbury, 2 are from the Manitoulin District. Three are said to be a result from contact with a confirmed case.
Elsewhere a staff member at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Cambrian Mall in Sault Ste Marie has tested positive for COVID-19. The company says the team member last worked on Sunday. That staff member is self isolating.
Meanwhile, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported eight new cases of COVID-19. Seven out of 8 are under the ages of 40 and ½ of those reportedly came into contact with a close case while one was exposed through community transmission.
Public Health Ontario is reporting another rise in COVID-19 cases over yesterday. 3,128 new cases of COVID were reported today. Of those, 22 were residents of long-term care homes. As it stands right now, one-third of Ontario’s long-term care homes experiencing outbreaks of COVID-19
