Among new cases of COVID-19 today, Public Health Sudbury and districts is reporting 41 new cases of COVID-19 . Among them 11 have tested for a variant of concern. In the Province today,1,553 cases were added.
New school-related COVID-19 cases are continuing in Greater Sudbury School communities, even with the closure in place. According to info listed on the four school boards’ websites, as of this morning, there were 38 active cases of COVID-19 in 18 schools. Five of the schools remain listed as active outbreaks.
