New COVID-19 numbers and exposure advisory

A potential COVID-19 exposure advisory has been issued for people on an Ontario Northland train. It was for the Monday, April 26 Ontario Northland train from Moosonee to Cochrane, scheduled to leave at 5 p.m., according to the Porcupine Health Unit. People who were seated in coach two must self-isolate immediately and call their local health unit. Everyone else should monitor for symptoms.
Elsewhere,
The Algoma Public Health is reporting two new cases of COVID-19. Both from Sault Ste. Marie and area, both caught the virus from close contact. The health unit reported the cases Monday evening.
Meanwhile,
Public Health Sudbury and Districts say 10 new cases of COVID-19 were added today, along with 5 recoveries. There were zero cases that screened positive for a variant of concern. Public Health Ontario has reported 2,791 new cases today. This is the first time since the end of April the numbers have been below 3,000.
While the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported two new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and three resolved. The two new cases are both in Parry Sound District, while the three resolved are all in Nipissing District.
