Ice is off the lake

The Lake is clear. Helicopters Canada say that on a Lake Nippising fly-over on Sunday Morning, the ice has completely melted from the Lake, clearing the way for boating season. The latest the lake has been declared ice-free was in 1926, when the ice remained until May 19. The earliest was in 1946, when the lake was clear April 4.
