Elgin Street Project headed to Sudbury City Council

The Elgin Street Greenway project is headed to city council next week. Worth $8.5 million dollars, if approved, work would begin this year on upgrades to the Riverside Drive pedestrian tunnel. The city has already set aside $1 million for the Greenway, while the federal and provincial governments have been asked to kick-in $1 million each.
