Traffic lights delayed

A delay is coming for new traffic lights on Airport Road near Westmount Boulevard in Timmins. That’s the word following this week’s Timmins City Council meeting. An original agreement signed in 2013 required that the traffic lights be installed and operational, at the request of a Tim Hortons’ developer’s expense, before the new drive-through coffee shop was opened. The issue will be revised in June.
