House Fire Pegged at $50,000

Three people were evacuated following a house fire in Greater Sudbury. It happened on Portage Avenue on Saturday, over the lunch hour. It took 13 fire fighters to get the blaze at the single-family dwelling under control. The fire caused about $50,000 worth of damage. Fire personnel remind all residents to ensure their fire alarms are working.
