A number of North Bay Schools recommended to Close

The Near North District School Board’s accommodation review committee (ARC) has recommended the closing Chippewa Secondary School. Their suggestion came last night with the recommendation to refurbish West Ferris and Widdifield. The ARC also agreed with the board to close E.W. Norman, E.T. Carmichael and W.J. Fricker and build a new school at the Fricker site. The trustees will make their decision June 27.
