A number of accidents in the north include one fatality

A number of students wound up in hospital for treatment this morning after their school bus was involved in an accident. Constable Miles Loach is with OPP out of West Parry Sound and spoke to us with details.

There is no word as to the cause of the crash, detours are available.
Elsewhere, traffic is now moving again on Hwy 17 west of North Bay. This is following a transport and an SUV collided near Christine Lane around 7:15 am today. The driver of the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
And finally, a Sudbury man has died following a fatal collision. It happened yesterday north of Still River, on Highway 69 in Henvey Township. The vehicles involved were two commercial motor vehicles. The driver of the northbound tractor-trailer has been identified as 53-year-old Eugene Coon. The driver of the second Tractor-trailer was transported to hospital for treatment.
