Callander Public Library wins award

The Callander Public Library has won an award. The prestigious Canadian Federation of University Women’s National Library award, beating out 11 other organizations in the process. The take home is a $4,000 prize the Library says they will reinvest into the Library itself. Among other things, the award recognizes the promotion of literacy and learning, while supporting creative program innovation.
