Film industry takes a boost in North Bay

New numbers on last year says that North Bay continues to call for lights, camera, action on the film and television industry in the North. According to reports, 2016 to 2017 filming days have doubled from 127 to 268 with direct spending rising to $22.7 million in 2017 from $8.9 million in 2016. More is slated to be filmed in 2018, with some productions starting this fall.
