While we’re still on the doorstep of fall, Sault Ste. Marie city council says that when the snow flies, they will not be able to provide free removal of snow windrows for seniors. There was some home that the Soo was going to be able follow suite with cities like Brantford that provides the service. Mayor Provenzano and City Councillors, were told this past week that Sault Ste. Marie typically receives 81 days with snow, accumulating 320.7 centimeters, compared to Brantford that receives 24 days of snow, accumulating 98.4 centimeters.
