Work on a major highway continues. The Highway 101 reconstruction project in Timmins continues and is expected to affect traffic moving forward. The City of Timmins says the project includes new asphalt, street lighting and box culvert replacements between Bruce Avenue and Legion Drive. This portion of the highway reconstruction project started in June. The city says crews are now closing the Bruce Y to finishing paving the highway. The work is expected to continue until October 18th.
