Ways to keep your pipes from freezing this Christmas

Timmins residents are being reminded that as temperatures drop, it’s not a bad idea to be proactive when it comes to pipes. With it being below -20 to start the week, there is a possibility of pipes freezing. The cities engineering department says it’s not a bad idea to keep a tap running… just a bit. They say it could prevent the pipes from freezing up, especially if you’re planning on being away over Christmas Day.
