KGHM lays off 22 workers in Greater Sudbury

The Polish-owned mining company KGHM has announced layoffs in Greater Sudbury. 22 jobs in total are being cut from the Morrison Mine operation. The mine is in the outlying community of Levack. The layoffs are, reportedly due to low mineral prices. The union says they are putting a number of benefits in place to help those affected.
