Bridge closing for painting project

The Mackinac Bridge in Sault Ste. Marie is facing a closure due to a painting project. It will all happen on Saturday morning as a contractor completes the work. The $6.5 million two-season projects expects to need a 30-minute to one-hour closure to install the scaffold platforms between Midnight at 3 am.
