A funding announcement on behalf of the federal government was made this week toward the work of the Rotary Splash Pad project. Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Anthony Rota says phase two is getting a $150,000 FedNor investment toward the project through the Canadian Experiences Fund. The splash pad is a joint project of the Rotary Club of North Bay and the Rotary Club of Nipissing. Construction of the 6,000 square-foot splash pad is already underway at its downtown location behind the North Bay Museum.
