Two new fires have started up in the Northeast. Among them, Sudbury 44 was found east of the Mississagi Provincial Park and has been deemed under control at 0.5 of a hectare. The other one is in Bancroft southeast of Brinklow Lake and is not under control at 2 hectares.
With campfires, before leaving the site, extinguish the fire by drowning it with water, stirring the ashes to uncover any hot coals, and drown it again.
