Cautious visits can begin in Long Term Care Homes – Premier

Doug Ford stood before Ontarians today with an important announcement regarding visits family and friends in some form of care… the Province is starting what they call a cautious restart to visits. Starting June 18th – cautious visits can restart to long term care homes, retirement homes, group homes, and other congregate settings, NOT under an outbreak.
In addition to other details:
One visitor will be allowed per resident for one outdoor visit per week at long-term care homes. The visitor must have tested negative for coronavirus in the past two weeks.
For retirement homes, residents will be allowed indoor and outdoor visits. The numbers of visitors will be designated by the facility.
