Ontario Government – “Social Circles” are now possible

Public health Ontario says that “Social Circles” are now possible. These are NOT the same as “Social Gatherings”.
Social Circles: Close family and friends you can have close contact with, WITHOUT the need for social distancing. In a group no larger than 10.
Social Gathering: Any gathering outside of your “Social Circle” that WILL require social distancing. In groups no larger than 10.

Further details: Those inside a “Social Circle” must be COVID-19 free. They can include family members, another designated household or friends that are in agreement to be in your circle.
Health officials say to start with your current circle. These include the people you live with or who regularly come into your household. If your current circle is under 10 people, you can add members to your circle, including another household, family members or friends. Get agreement from everyone that they will join the circle. Keep your social circle safe. Maintain physical distancing with anyone outside of your circle. Be true to your circle. No one should be part of more than one circle.
