Heath Canada continues to recall brands of Hand Sanitizer

Health Canada has expanded its recall of hand sanitizer products sold in Canadian stores. Now more than 45 products now listed for containing industrial-grade ethanol are on the list. The agency first announced recalls of some hand sanitizer products on June 6 due to the presence of industrial-grade ethanol or denaturants that are not acceptable ingredients for use in hand sanitizers in Canada. Health Canada has continued to update the list, throughout the month of July and into August with at least 50 products recalled so far.
