Traps set for a nuisance bear

The city of Timmins has closed a portion of the Terry Fox Trail, it hopes the MNRF can catch a nuisance bear. Police are monitoring the situation carefully, to ensure full safety is adhered to. Constable Marc Depatie says there’s a very natural reason for the bears to be there.

The MNRF has set a live trap between Middleton Avenue and Dalton Road.
