HSN opens a new Virtual ER department

HSN has opened a Virtual Emergency Department this week, in attempts to free up space to mitigate overcrowding. A first for a hospital in Northern Ontario, HSN’s Virtual ED service is available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Patients with non-life-threatening conditions can log onto HERE and fill out a form requesting a same-day appointment with an Emergency Department physician.
