Laurentian University has been given until April 30th to come up with a restructuring plan. This is after an endorsement of their Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act by the court. On Feb. 1, the university announced it has filed for creditors’ protection, a move considered unprecedented in the post-secondary sector.
