ATV driver charged following traffic stop

Kirkland Lake OPP has charged an ATV driver, following a traffic stop. This is following a traffic stop on Woods Street at around 11:28 p.m. yesterday. While it’s not clear what led to the traffic stop, the investigation revealed that the 46-year-old had a suspended licence. The vehicle was impounded for 45 days as part of the Vehicle Impoundment Program.
