OPP charge Manitoulin Teen in Highschool incident

UPDATE: A 16-year-old from M’Chigeeng First Nation is facing charges. This is after an alleged altercation at Manitoulin Secondary School. It happened Tuesday. The Rainbow District School Board an altercation occurred at dismissal Tuesday and was a conflict between students. The Student is facing a number of charges.

Manitoulin OPP continues to investigate what they call a “serious incident” at Manitoulin Secondary School. It happened Tuesday and was serious enough to result in the school’s dismissal. School administration acted quickly to de-escalate a conflict between students. The incident remains under active investigation.
