Pilot arrested after making illegal landing in North Bay

A 56-year-old man Pilot from Newfoundland has been charged with operating a helicopter while impaired. It was shortly after 7pm yesterday when the man, made an unscheduled landing at the Jack Garland Airport. Police responded as the chopper was flying, allegedly in an “erratic manner. The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
