The election is behind us and North Bay Councils’ general government committee is recommending a series of changes when it comes to election sign governance. Thus far, the committee’s recommendation, made in response to a proposed election signs bylaw, would effectively limit the number of signs, per candidate or registered third party, on public property to two on a municipal road allowance and in three parks – the Main Street overpass from Oak Street to Judge Avenue, Lee Park from Judge Avenue to James Street, and Thomson Park beside Fisher Street.
